Incumbent Pulupandan town Mayor Miguel Antonio Peña said yesterday, September 12, that he is running for town vice mayor in next year’s election.
Peña, who is now on his last term, said they will soon reveal their official line-up in the town under Love-Negros Party including his mayoralty bet.
He said that under his administration they have been concentrating on the delivery of basic health services through the Rural Health Clinic especially now that the country is still experiencing the coronavirus disease (Covid -19) pandemic.
Meanwhile, Peña expressed support in the re-election bid of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer.
He gave Lacson a 95 percent rating out of 100 percent for his first term as the governor of the province.
“Even in handling the province this time of the pandemic Lacson did well. They’re doing a good job in the province,” the mayor said. (TDE)
