The three towns that garnered a 100-percent rating in the gauge for the functionality and effectiveness of their local Adac included Arayat, Masantol and San Simon.
The said municipalities received special recognition from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) during the recent Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Summit cum Adac awarding.
Aside from them, the provincial government of Pampanga and 15 other municipalities and one city were also cited for garnering a score of 85 and above with an adjectival rating in the same audit.
The awardees were Apalit, Bacolor, Candaba, Floridablanca, Guagua, Macabebe, Magalang, Mexico, Minalin, Porac, City of San Fernando, San Luis, Sta. Ana, Sta. Rita, Sto. Tomas, and Sasmuan.
The DILG recognized the said local government units for their efforts in ensuring drug-free communities by complementing the national government’s anti-illegal drugs program through their local Adacs.
The awarding was led by DILG Undersecretary Ricojudge Janvier Echiverri, Undersecretary for External and Legislative Affairs, Regional Director Karl Caesar R. Rimando and Pampanga Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia.
