Danao City, Consolacion continue Covid-19 vaccination drive

TWELVE days after Typhoon Odette (Rai) hit Cebu, the Danao City Government will resume its vaccination against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on December 28-29, 2021.

However, it set an early cutoff time for the administration of first and second dose.

At the city’s Civic Center, the cutoff time is set at 2:30 p.m.

The vaccination for adults who are about to receive the first and second doses is set for two days.

For children, only those scheduled for second dose will be vaccinated.

At City Mall, the venue is only for children scheduled to receive their second dose. The cutoff time is set at 1 p.m.

For adult individuals who would have been vaccinated for the first dose on December 15-23 could avail themselves of the vaccine jabs on December 28-29. But they must arrive in the vaccination area before the cutoff time.

Individuals scheduled for second dose who failed to get their sceond jab because of Typhoon Odette need not fret as the City scheduled their vaccination on January 3-7, 2022. This schedule is only for second dose recipients.

There will be no vaccinations on December 30 and 31.

In January, the venue for the second dose for adults will still be the Civic Center while for the second dose of pedia it will be held at the Colegio de San Antionio de Padua-Sands Campus.

Consolacion vax drive

Danao City is not the only city that continued the vaccination drive.

The local government unit of Consolacion resumed vaccinations against Covid-19 on Monday, December 27.

The vaccination is held at the Municipal Covered Court. The vaccination at SM City Consolacion has yet to return. (REV / KAL)
