GIPASAKAAN og upat ka mga kaso sa korte sa Movement Against Carbon Market Privatization (MACMP) ang mga opisyal sa Cebu City Government ug Megawide Construction Corporation (MCC) aron mapugngan ang pagtukod sa bag-o ug modernong merkado sa Carbon sa Barangay Ermita, Siyudad sa Sugbo.
Lakip sa mga kaso nga ilang gisang-at sa Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 10 ni Judge Soliver Peras mao ang nullification of joint venture agreement (JVA), contract and related documents, writ of preliminary injunction, temporary restraining order ug damages with mandamus ilawom sa Rule 2 of Rule 65.
Ang mga respondent mao silang Mayor Edgardo Labella, Bise Mayor Michael Rama ug City Administrator Floro Casas isip chairman sa JVA selection committee ug ubang mga department head sa City Hall.
Gihulagway sa plaintiffs nga gilangkuban sa Akbayan Partylist, Sanlakas Partylist, Bato Ermita Community and Neighborhood Association, mga pribadong individual nga gipangulohan ni Wine Miro ug ubang organisasyon nga maoy niduso sa korte nga ila kining gipasaka gumikan sa giingong mga violation.
Kini naglangkob sa City Ordinance 1866 of 2000 (socialized housing site), City Ordinance 2154 (Joint Venture Ordinance), City Ordinance 2486 (Market Code) of 2017, Presidential Proclamation No. 241 (declaring of lot 913 as market site) of 1965, Local Government Code of 1991 kun Republic Act (RA 7160), National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 kun Republic Act (RA) 10066, Urban Development and Housing Act of 1992 kun Republic Act (RA 7279), Republic Act (RA) 6957 ug memorandum of agreement tali sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ug Cebu Port Authority (CPA) niadtong 2013.

The JVSC evaluated the Carbon development project thoroughly and objectively, taking into consideration the best interest of the city government, the vendors and the public in general,”padayag sa City Administrator.
Nanghinaot ang defendants nga uyonan sa korte ang ilang gisang-at nga kaso ug mabayran og P100,000 ang plaintiff isip danyos.
